This facility holds our ductwork, electrical, plumbing and piping prefabrication departments as well as our Virtual Design Construction (VDC) team.
We are excited to announce the expansion of Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical to a new location in the Altavista Office Park at 701 5th Street, Altavista, VA. This move marks a significant return to a space we once occupied until 2009, bringing us back to a familiar setting with exciting new possibilities.
Starting October 1st, our Commercial Service Department will relocate to the top floor of this 30,000-square-foot facility. This move includes approximately 50 partners currently based at our headquarters on Edgewood Avenue in Altavista, VA. These teams are essential to our operations, handling service contracts, billing, writing, and dispatch.
Our new location will enable us to significantly expand our capacity, allowing for the future growth of our Service Division. This expansion supports our ongoing operations across Virginia, North Carolina, and our recent entry into South Carolina, where we continue to provide planned maintenance, equipment upgrades, changeouts, and 24-hour emergency services for commercial and industrial facilities. Our services include HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing solutions, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients.
We are also pleased to confirm that our current tenants, UVA Dialysis and The Standard Insurance Company, will continue to occupy the first floor of the building, ensuring uninterrupted service for their operations.
This new office will become our 14th location, further enhancing our presence in Altavista, where we currently operate four locations and employ over 600 partners.
