What are M-Power Hours?

M-Power Hours are a unique opportunity for our Partners to volunteer their time and talents to non-profit organizations that are making a real impact without needing to take PTO. It’s about giving back to the places we call home and supporting non-profits that support our community. Each year, every Partner at Moore’s gets 8 M-Power Hours to use at an approved organization of their choosing.

Our Purpose

We created M-Power Hours to foster purposeful community engagement that enriches and inspires the lives of our Moore’s Partners and the communities we serve, whether locally or globally. We are committed to:

 

  • Support volunteer efforts that strengthen the communities where we live and work.

  • Assist nonprofit organizations doing important work.

  • Respond to emergencies or natural disasters with compassion and hands-on help.

  • Encourage Partners to make a difference in areas they are personally passionate about,

 

Partner with M-Power Hours

How It Works for Our Partners

We make it easy for our Partners to contribute:

  • Up to 8 Hours Annually:     Each full-time and part-time Partner is eligible for up to 8 paid hours per calendar year to volunteer.
  • Approved Non-Profits:     Volunteer time must be spent with an approved non-profit organization.
  • During Work Hours:     M-Power Hours should fall within a normal 40-hour work week and cannot be used for overtime.
  • Annual Refresh:     Your M-Power Hours are refreshed at the beginning of each calendar year. Please note that these hours cannot be accrued or carried over into the following year.
  • No Impact on PTO:     Using M-Power Hours does not affect your normal Paid Time Off.
