Bio

Andy began his career at Moore’s in 1997, working in the field where he became a master HVAC technician before advancing to project manager, department manager, and later assuming the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in 2015.

Andy is passionate about continual growth—both personally and professionally—and is dedicated to helping others do the same. He carries forward Moore’s legacy of servant leadership, inspiring and equipping leaders to live out the company’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values each day—all for the glory of God.

As Chair of the Moore’s Charitable Foundation, Andy is deeply committed to giving back—supporting initiatives that strengthen local communities and make a global impact. He also serves on the President’s Council for God’s Pit Crew and the Campbell County Economic Development Council, extending his heart for service beyond the workplace.

Andy and his wife, Amy, reside in Altavista, Virginia, with their three daughters. An avid runner with a passion for health and wellness, Andy strives to lead by example—personally, professionally, and spiritually—recognizing that he is a steward of God’s business. Romans 1:16.

Born and raised in Madison Heights, VA, Troy began his career by joining the United States Marine Corps in December 1998. After more than 23 years of honorable service to our country, he retired and brought his leadership and dedication to Moore’s. Today, Troy serves as Chief Operating Officer, helping guide the commercial, industrial, BAS and internal teams and departments that make Moore’s an exceptional place to work and grow.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their three children—Lila, Davis, and Lillian—and staying active through running.

After several years of leadership in the manufacturing industry, Troy joined Moore’s in 2002 as the company’s first Tools & Equipment Manager. A year later, he transitioned to the Commercial Service Department, where he has spent the majority of his career leading and supporting one of Moore’s core divisions.

A proud Virginia Tech graduate, Troy remains an avid Hokie fan and enjoys returning to campus to cheer on the football and basketball teams. He and his wife, Christy, live on a farm in Pittsylvania County, where they embrace life outdoors and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

Danny joined Moore’s in 2019 and leads our Projects Division, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing  (MEP) projects for commercial and industrial facilities. With more than 20 years of experience in construction and facility operations, he began his career as an Industrial Electrician and advanced through multiple leadership roles, including Plant Manager for a large manufacturing facility in southern Virginia.

Leveraging his strong foundation in LEAN construction principles and continuous improvement, Danny is dedicated to optimizing project performance, safety, and quality from start to finish. He studied Electronics at Danville Community College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Averett University. Outside of work, Danny enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, playing guitar, reading, and tinkering with electronics.

Greg leads Moore’s Building Automation Systems Department, leading the team in delivering innovative building controls, programming, and automation solutions. With more than 30 years of experience in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industry, he has extensive expertise with Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Tridium Niagara platforms. Greg is passionate about helping clients create smarter, more efficient buildings through technology-driven solutions.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Greg and his wife, Barbara, now live in Bedford County, Virginia, with two of their five children and two big dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, while Barbara keeps the family busy with fitness and horticulture.

Matt serves as Electrical Department Manager at Moore’s, bringing many years of hands-on experience in commercial electrical services across Virginia. Since joining the company in 2008, he has advanced through roles from Apprentice to Project Manager before stepping into leadership in 2025. Matt focuses on improving processes, supporting his team, and expanding Moore’s electrical operations in the state of Virginia.

Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and their three sons, who keep him busy with their passion for baseball.

Bio

Steve began his electrical career in 1977 as a part-time helper while in trade school and spent his early years wiring hospitals and supervising fire alarm installations. Over the years, his hands-on field experience evolved into a leadership role in commercial electrical project management, where he’s built lasting relationships with clients throughout Charlottesville and Central Virginia.

Steve’s management experience includes certifications from the Army Corps Project Management Training Program, Leadership Trust, and Associated Builders & Contractors Project Management. This training has enabled him to successfully partner with some of the largest general contractors on the East Coast, managing projects for UVA, VCU, state and federal agencies, and private clients alike.

Steve lives in Goochland County with his wife, Carole. They have two sons, Steven III and Christopher, and two grandchildren, Emma and Owen. When he’s not managing projects, Steve enjoys working on and riding cars, motorcycles, and ATVs, and spending time with his family.

Beginning his career in January 1995 as an industrial electrical helper, Mike has built a lifelong career dedicated to excellence in electrical craftsmanship and leadership. After earning his Journeyman Electrician Certification, he advanced through the field to become Industrial Electrical Operations Manager, where he oversees daily industrial operations, including project planning, scheduling future work, and developing strong customer relationships.

With more than three decades of industrial and commercial electrical experience, Mike brings knowledgable expertise across the electrical side of industrial systems. His leadership ensures every project delivered by Moore’s Electric meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability, reflecting the company’s long-standing reputation for integrity and service.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys hunting, spending time with family, and traveling—especially taking cruises to unwind and explore new destinations.

Rhett joined Moore’s in 2020 and quickly advanced from Project Manager to lead the Mechanical Department. With over 25 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, Rhett brings a deep understanding of facility management, mechanical systems, and the real-world challenges that commercial and industrial clients face every day. His leadership centers on overseeing high-quality mechanical hvac, piping and plumbing services that help customers maintain efficiency, safety, and reliability in their operations.

Rhett and his wife, Sara Beth, are the proud parents of three daughters.

Kirk joined Moore’s in 2023, bringing more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and equipment procurement. With a deep understanding of industrial systems and processes, Kirk focuses on mechanical service solutions that minimize downtime and maximize plant performance — from equipment maintenance and system upgrades to process optimization and energy efficiency.

Kirk aims to assist clients achieve operational excellence through proactive mechanical service and support. His extensive industry background allows him to identify challenges before they become problems and provide tailored solutions for complex industrial environments.

Outside of work, Kirk enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamara, and their two children. He’s an avid outdoorsman who loves hiking, fishing, and exploring nature with his family.

Jaime in an LEED AP, and leads the Preconstruction Department with more than 20 years of experience in commercial preconstruction and construction management across Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. A Virginia Tech graduate with a B.S. in Building Construction, Jaime also completed The Management Institute at Roanoke College.

He specializes in preconstruction planning, budgeting, and design coordination, focusing on collaboration and value-driven solutions that support successful project delivery. Jaime is passionate about building strong client relationships and advancing sustainable, efficient construction practices.

He lives in Bedford, Virginia, with his wife, Tara, and enjoys family activities, travel, and cheering on their five children.

Shane began his career with Moore’s in April 2021 in order to help establish a fabrication shop and rebuild our internal capabilities to support our “R” Stamp welding program for repairing boilers and pressure vessels.

His background is in fabrication and specialty welding across multiple codes inspired him to further his education at the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, where he earned his AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) license in 2020.

Shane now leads as Department Manager over VDC & Pre-Fabrication, where he continue to lead a talented team focused on innovation, quality, and efficiency in every project we deliver.

Outside of work, Shane enjoy spending time with his wife and two daughters, taking short trips, and enjoying just about any outdoor activity.

Matthew joined Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical in 2024 as Industrial Business Development Leader, serving industrial clients across Virginia and North Carolina. With over 15 years in sales and six years as an Industrial Mechanical Project Manager, he brings expertise in business development, industrial construction, and client relations.

A U.S. Army Infantry veteran, Matthew is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality solutions for industrial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services. He holds NCCER and AWS Welding Certifications, a Karrass Negotiation Certification, and OSHA Safety Certifications. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys USPSA competitive shooting, spending time with his family, and teaching the Word of God. Married since 2016, he and his wife are raising three children with a strong foundation of faith and family.

Jason joined Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical in 2020 as Service Operations Manager for the Northern Virginia market, later expanding his leadership to include Charlottesville. With extensive experience managing large teams and optimizing service operations, he was promoted to Regional Operations Manager in 2023, overseeing more than 25 technicians and driving excellence through hiring, training, and performance development.

Now serving as Service Department Manager, Jason leads all aspects of the department’s operations, focusing on efficiency, quality service, and continuous improvement.

He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Manassas, Virginia, with their three children. Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing basketball, softball, pickleball, and other sports.

Tom currently serves as one of our Regional Operations Managers in our Commercial Service Department, overseeing the Central and Southwest Virginia Service teams as well as Service Plumbing operations. He also leads our dedicated office staff, ensuring smooth coordination and efficiency across all service departments. Tom has nearly 30 years of leadership, operations, and team development experience.

Holding a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University, Tom is passionate about Christ-centered leadership, focusing on building relationships, serving others, and leading with purpose. He takes pride in developing teams that grow both personally and professionally, strengthening our company’s culture and service excellence. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, exploring local markets, and kayaking.

Jason is one of our Regional Operations Managers for Moore’s Commercial Service Department, leading teams that provide 24/7 emergency HVAC services throughout North Carolina. With over 25 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry and five mechanical licenses across North and South Carolina, Jason brings deep technical expertise to every project.

He began as an HVACR Service Technician in 2014, and now oversees 4 Area Service Managers as well as the Service Projects Department in North Carolina.

Jason is dedicated to developing the next generation of technicians, building high-performing teams, and ensuring every customer experience reflects Moore’s core values. He and his wife, Carma, recently celebrated 15 years of marriage and live in Calabash, North Carolina, with their children, Westin and Peyton.

Patrick joined Moore’s in 2017 as a Sales Representative for the Service Department. He now leads our Sales Team as Business Development Leader, in delivering exceptional customer experiences across Virginia and North Carolina.

A Central Virginia native, Patrick was a standout athlete in baseball and basketball. He is married to Linda and has two boys, Patrick Jr. and Maddox. In his free time, Patrick enjoys spending time with family, grilling out, playing golf, and coaching his sons’ Little League and travel baseball teams.

With a deep commitment to teamwork, integrity, and service excellence, Patrick helps ensure Moore’s remains a trusted partner for commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services throughout Virginia and North Carolina.

Alan joined Moore’s in 2012 and serves as the Information Technology Director. He brings over 35 years of experience in IT leadership, systems integration, networking, and security, having held key roles at respected organizations such as Babcock & Wilcox (B&W), Tultex, First Colony Life Insurance, and General Electric (GE).

Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lynchburg University and has obtained a range of industry-recognized certifications, including credentials from Novell, Microsoft, Cisco, and other leading technology providers.

In addition to his professional work, Alan is passionate about giving back to his community. He volunteers his time and expertise at Faith Christian Academy and New Beginnings Baptist Church. His hobbies include riding motocross bikes, four-wheelers, shooting, and a variety of outdoor activities.

Alan and his wife, Ruth Anne, have three children and two grandchildren. Both of their sons, Jason and Benjamin, work alongside Alan in the IT department.

A native of Amherst County, Virginia, George joined Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical in 1999 as Vice President of Finance. He oversees company financials and supports business units with P&L management, job cost analysis, and project estimating.

Before Moore’s, George spent 18 years as Secretary/Treasurer for a VDOT road and bridge contractor, building extensive expertise in construction finance and operations. He enjoys time with his wife, Virginia, their children, and grandson—especially on the Chesapeake Bay.

Originally from Gretna, Virginia, Morgan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Longwood University. Since joining Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical in 2010, she has advanced from Onboarding Specialist to Partner Care Leader and now serves as Partner Operations Leader.

In this role, Morgan oversees the Partner Care, Recruiting, and Marketing & Communications teams, leading initiatives that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency across Moore’s.

She lives in Campbell County with her husband, Heath, and their two children, Michael and Wyatt. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, supporting her kids’ activities, and attending concerts.

A lifelong resident of Altavista, VA, Aaron began his career at Moore’s in 2011 as Tools and Equipment Manager. Over the years, he has played a key role in company operations, including logistics, purchasing, and facility management. In 2015, he helped launch Moore’s IVES Equipment Training Program, now a cornerstone of our employee onboarding process.

As Field Operations Manager, Aaron leads our Tools & Equipment teams, ensuring efficiency, and operational excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Nathan began working at Moore’s in 2012 and now serves as our Talent Acquisition Manager, leading recruiting efforts across all divisions of the company. Nathan aims to help people find meaningful careers and building strong, lasting teams that support Moore’s continued growth across Virginia and North Carolina.

Outside of work, Nathan has served the community as a youth sports coach in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He currently serves as the Coordinator for the Gretna Youth League and is a member of the Gretna Baseball Boosters. Nathan lives in Pittsylvania County with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching, sports, hunting, and fishing.

Jenna joined Moore’s in 2022, initially serving as the Executive Assistant for three years before transitioning into her current role as Impact Coordinator. In this position, she plays a key role in advancing Moore’s mission to operate as a ministry. Jenna helps lead and support several key initiatives, including the Business on Mission projects, the Moore’s Charitable Foundation, the Partners Helping Partners program, and M-Power Hour opportunities—each designed to positively impact Moore’s partners, customers, and communities.

Guided by 1 Peter 4:10, Jenna is passionate about serving others and helping Moore’s live out its faith-driven purpose in practical, meaningful ways.

Jenna lives in Appomattox County with her two daughters, Carolina and Chapel. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her children’s sports, coaching softball and basketball, attending concerts, and cheering on the Tar Heels.

Susan began her career with Moore’s Electrical & Mechanical in 2008, starting in the Marketing Department and growing into her current role as Marketing & Communications Leader. With over 22 years of experience in strategic marketing and corporate communications, Susan oversees both internal employee engagement and external marketing initiatives across all divisions of Moore’s.

Susan holds a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Graphic Design, along with minors in Business Marketing and Spanish. Her leadership blends creativity and strategy, drawing on her diverse skills in graphic design, digital marketing, brand storytelling, and clear communication. Susan plays a key role in strengthening Moore’s brand presence through marketing campaigns, videography, photography, and advertising materials that support recruiting, sales, missions, and internal messaging.

Outside of work, she enjoys raising her three daughters — Natalie, Alexa, and Jenna — spending time outdoors, camping, kayaking, and traveling.

Originally from Charlotte County, Virginia, Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College before pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting.

Chad joined Moore’s in 2025, where he oversees Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management. With a strong foundation in economics and accounting, Chad brings precision, efficiency, and strategic insight to financial operations. His leadership ensures accuracy and accountability across Moore’s financial systems.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his two daughters and cheering them on at their sporting events.
