Bio

Andy has served as President & CEO since 2015. Over the last 20 years, he has served in many roles from the field where he became a master HVAC technician before later transitioning into management. Andy enjoys improving as a leader and person, and is passionate about helping others do the same. Andy continues the legacy of servant leadership with a passion to develop leaders to live out the Moore’s Vision, Mission and Values. As the chair of the Moore’s Charitable Foundation, he enjoys the opportunity to give back to the local community and abroad. He currently serves on the President’s Council for God’s Pit Crew. Andy and his wife, Amy, reside in Altavista, VA with their three daughters. He actively runs and enjoys learning about a healthy lifestyle. Andy realizes he is a steward of God’s business. Romans 1:16

Bio

Troy began his career at Moore’s as our first Tools & Equipment Manager, later being promoted to manage our Commercial Service Department. He now oversees Commercial Service, Industrial Service and Commercial Construction, and also coaches and supports our operations group leaders.

Troy is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, which he and his family often visit to support Hokie football and basketball. He and his wife, Christy, live on a farm in Pittsylvania County with their two children, where they enjoy many activities related to the outdoors.

Bio

Born and raised in Madison Heights, VA, Troy joined the United States Marine Corps in December 1998. He joins Moore’s after retiring with more than 23 years of service to our country. Troy has the privilege of serving as the Partner Operations Leader, helping lead the departments that make Moore’s the best place to work. Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their three children, Lila, Davis and Lillian, as well as running and skydiving.

Bio

Jenna joined the Moore’s team in 2022 and serves as our Executive Assistant. In this position, she works closely with the CEO in day-to-day operations and supports the executive team and the leadership team. Jenna has a vast background in state government, construction, customer service and office administration.

Outside of work, Jenna is active within the community coaching youth basketball, softball, and high school girls’ basketball. She resides in Campbell County and enjoys life with her partner Bryan, their 6 children, 6 dogs, and two cats. In her spare time, she loves attending UNC sporting events (Go Heels!), traveling to new places, being on the beach, and spending time with her parents.

Bio

Bill joined Moore’s in 2023, and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer.  He has over 35 years’ experience in financial management roles in the construction industry.  He has degrees in economics / historic preservation, and accounting. Early in his career he worked in the trades as a carpenter and finisher and obtained a builders license in the State of Michigan.   Always humbled by God’s providence in his life, he seeks to share the good news and model Jesus’s leadership.

Bio

Alan serves as the Director of Information Technology and has extensive experience managing multiple areas of IT, including infrastructure, security and help desk support.

Alan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Lynchburg University and holds various other industry certifications. He has over 30 years of experience in IT and previously worked at Babcock & Wilcox (B&W), First Colony Life Insurance and General Electric.

Alan and his wife, Ruth Anne, have three children – Allison, Jason and Benjamin – and two grandchildren. Alan enjoys spending time with his family, riding motocross bikes and four-wheelers, and other outdoor activities. He also volunteers his expertise in IT at Faith Christian Academy and runs the audio and video at his church with his son Benjamin.

Bio

Britteny is a Mary Washington graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration. She has been in management since 2010, supervising teams of up to 50. Britteny also studied abroad at the Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago. At Moore’s, she oversees all of the payroll processes and procedures to ensure we are efficient and compliant with federal and state laws, and she fields questions regarding anything related to employment history or payments.

Britteny enjoys exploring new places and trying new foods. She’s an avid Batman fan, and even named her fur baby Bruce Wayne.

A native of Amherst County, VA, George joined Moore’s in 1999 as Controller – VP Finance with responsibility for the publication of financials and assisting the business units with P&L management and job cost analysis for estimating and tracking jobs. Prior to joining Moore’s, George started his career in construction as secretary/treasurer of a road and bridge VDOT contractor for 18 years.

George enjoys spending time with his wife, Virginia; children Courtney and Colton; and his grandson, especially on the Chesapeake Bay.

Greg Danahy serves as our Business Development Manager for our Commercial Construction Services across Virginia. He focuses on building our pipeline by developing new relationships as well as strengthening our current customer base. He earned his Bachelors in Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College where he played soccer all four years.

He and his wife, Sarah, live in Roanoke with their daughter Eloise. Outside of work if he isn’t spending time at home with his family, you can most likely find Greg on the nearest golf course.

A lifelong resident of the Altavista, VA area, Aaron originally started at Moore’s in 2011 as Tools and Equipment Manager. Since then, Aaron has been involved with operations of the company, including Logistics, Purchasing and Facility Management. In 2015, Aaron helped develop our internal IVES Equipment training program, which has become a part of every onboarding process for new hires. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and is an avid traveler.

Nathan began working at Moore’s in 2012 and now serves as Manpower Manager to lead the recruiting efforts for Moore’s. He oversees a team of recruiters for the entire company and is the Manpower Coordinator for our Commercial Construction and Industrial Services Teams. Nathan started his career at Moore’s in 2012.

Outside of work, Nathan served as the Treasurer for the Altavista Area Chamber of Commerce and has served the community as a youth sports coach in soccer, basketball and baseball for several years. Nathan resides in Pittsylvania County with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, sports, hunting and fishing.

Tom currently serves as the Business Development Leader within the Service Department. He has almost 30 years of sales experience, managing successful sales teams and training hundreds of sales professionals. He believes in Christ-centered leadership, where he focuses on the relationship with others and makes that his purpose. Tom works hard to instill solid values in his sales team that will not only set them apart from the competition, but help to make them better partners (employees). He loves spending time with family, golfing, going to local markets and chasing a sunrise on the beach.

Jaimeson “Jaime” English has served as Preconstruction Department Manager for the construction department since October 2022.  He graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Building Construction in 1999. Additionally, he was nominated for and completed The Management Institute program at Roanoke College.  Jaime has worked in a preconstruction role in the Virginia/North Carolina/West Virginia market since 2000 with a focus on building long-lasting relationships and is an advocate for a collaborative team approach to meet the client and team goals.

Jaime lives in the Town of Bedford with his wife Tara and enjoys watching their five kids’ activities, trips with the family, game nights, and movies.

Susan began her career at Moore’s in 2008 and now serves as Communications Director. She oversees all internal employee communication and external marketing. Susan has a B.S. in Communications, specializing in graphic design, with minors in Business Marketing and Spanish. The Communications Department creates, produces and oversees graphic design projects and marketing campaigns, videography, photography and various other means of advertising.

Susan raises three daughters – Natalie, Alexa and Jenna – in Pittsylvania County, VA. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, kayaking and being outside. Susan has a deep love for the water, especially the beach, and she’s always planning her next traveling adventure.

Danny joined the Moore’s team in 2019 and leads our Commercial Construction teams. He began his career as an Industrial Electrician 20 years ago and served in a variety of leadership roles before eventually assuming the position of Plant Manager for a large manufacturing facility in southern VA. He has an extensive background in LEAN and continuous improvement, and has applied those principles to the construction industry.

In addition to spending time with his wife and two daughters, Danny enjoys a variety of hobbies including guitar, reading and tinkering with electronics.

Rhett Holley is the Department Manager of Moore’s Industrial Division based in Altavista VA. He has 25 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. Rhett’s background has given him insight in regard to facilities management with a knowledge of real world challenges that customer’s face on a daily basis. His main focus is ensuring that customers are provided high quality services that allow their facilities to meet production needs.

Rhett is married and a father to three beautiful daughters.

Greg serves as the Building Automation Systems Department Manager for Moore’s Building Automation Group. He has recently relocated from the Philadelphia suburbs, where he spent 30+ years as a Building Automation engineer. For the past 20 years, he has been the chief engineer for the area’s largest controls distributor, specializing in Honeywell, Johnson Controls and Tridium based control systems. Greg is responsible for engineering, programming and business development for Controls & BAS. He and his wife, Barbara, reside in Bedford County, Virginia with two of their five children and two big dogs. They enjoy horticulture, physical fitness (mostly Barb) and cooking (mostly Greg).
