S&P Global had three Building Automation Systems from which its equipment operated, and was seeking to integrate all three into one. We were able to install and integrate the new controls systems seamlessly with the old. Moore’s provided all new programming, controllers and End Devices, including all control for the existing Air Handlers, the remaining VAVs that hadn’t already been upgraded, Pump and Valve Controls, and Parking Garage Monitoring.
Combining several building automation systems into one gives facility teams a single place to monitor and control their equipment, which makes it easier to spot issues, adjust schedules, and manage energy use. For this 2021 project at S&P Global’s Charlottesville, VA office, our building automation team focused on making the transition seamless so day-to-day operations could continue while the new controls came online.
Building automation is one of the core services Moore’s provides alongside our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. As a 100% employee-owned company founded in 1985, we serve commercial and industrial clients across Virginia and North Carolina.
