Good safety performance is the result of training, awareness and hard work. We want our people to go home safely at the end of the day. For us, it’s a way of life. That’s why we take a proactive approach to protection, intentionally seeking potential hazards and removing them to avoid risks.

Our Goal is ZERO Accidents Every Day

Our six dedicated Partner Protection Leaders provide support and oversee day-to-day safety activities in commercial service, industrial service and commercial construction. Each day, we walk our job or task site to identify hazards and create action plans to avoid them.

For Moore’s, safety never takes the day off.

Wear proper PPE. We require our tradesmen to always wear their Personal Protective Equipment to protect them from injuries. We like to call them the Big 5: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Hi-Vis Shirt, Gloves and Steel Toe Boots.
Create a daily plan. To have a plan is to be prepared for whatever may come your way. That’s why we train our partners to have a plan of action on their worksites so they know what to do in any scenario.
Improve each day. It’s important to never use a tool or do a task on which you are not properly trained. That’s why we always provide proper training so our people can complete their job successfully.
Never look away. One of the most courageous things you can do is report unsafe behavior. This will prevent an accident and be an educational experience for all.
Never take a shortcut. We vow never to take a shortcut when it comes to doing something the right way. We know that shortcuts can lead to injury and other problems down the road. It is always better to do something the right way first.

In-House Safety Training

We value education and training. Each new employee is trained in OSHA 10 during their initial onboarding, and we encourage continued safety education annually. We provide the following in-house trainings:
