Steve began his electrical career in 1977 as a part-time helper while in trade school and spent his early years wiring hospitals and supervising fire alarm installations. Over the years, his hands-on field experience evolved into a leadership role in commercial electrical project management, where he’s built lasting relationships with clients throughout Charlottesville and Central Virginia.
Steve’s management experience includes certifications from the Army Corps Project Management Training Program, Leadership Trust, and Associated Builders & Contractors Project Management. This training has enabled him to successfully partner with some of the largest general contractors on the East Coast, managing projects for UVA, VCU, state and federal agencies, and private clients alike.
Steve lives in Goochland County with his wife, Carole. They have two sons, Steven III and Christopher, and two grandchildren, Emma and Owen. When he’s not managing projects, Steve enjoys working on and riding cars, motorcycles, and ATVs, and spending time with his family.
